In the same way, reminding us that the rapid development is indeed an integral parting our contemporary situations; for it caters a real manifestations that we are journeying to the path of progression. Furthermore, the rapid development of the new technologies in our contemporary condition caters a significant steps in the propagation of Gospel, and other good News information and evangelization. In the same way, it gives an area for the development in our way of educating our new generation. Indeed, it helps to develop our mental capacity to become more aware of what is real and good. thus serves as an principal means of guidance and inspiration for many people. in their personal and social activities. On the other hand, this rapid development of social communication must promotes the fundamental principle of a true society that is bounded with love, peace and most of all justice. It should not be an instruments of egoistic attitude and relations. The use of these instrument should always give fruitful completion towards the improvements of every individual and in the family, community, and in the society in which we belong.

The importance of advertising is steadily on the increase in modern society. Another new phenomenon is the outbreak of VCD and DVD pornography, which can be obtained easily and cheaply. This influences the sexual behavior of our youth, even pour elementary pupils. Almost all parents are unhappy with this kind of media, but feel helpless to do anything about it. BUT IT IS TRUE THAT NOTHING CAN BE DONE?
In addition, I admit I have not yet begun an effective cooperation to address the question of the destructive influence of our indecent media; perhaps some of you can give (me) a good advice on how to meet this challenge.

Thus, the more we hold on it, the more we are engaging ourselves to be inflected by its evil effect, most especially to our family and with in the context of society.

One of those effect that are rapidly contaminating because of our colossal utilization and because of our illiteracy with its functions, we end up on relying all the things around us, or better still we become agnostics, atheist, and materialist and these are indispensable, due to our too much abuses with the things around us. In fact we become irreligious!

We are in the age of modernization by the works of technological advancement, and because of this we look to our religion and to our faith in God less and less, we simply look at our faith as what it appear to us but in terms of religious commitment we don’t have any solid foundation. The world looks less and less to religious rules and rituals for its morality or its meaning because of our too much attachment with the new technological realm. Thus, with the massive advancement we are inviting to believe and to be proud that everything is but a product of human mind no longer in the perspective of Supreme being. Indeed we ignore his presence! We exchanged Him in return of material things, things that will pass away.

Pornography and its Violence

It is not a secret that many countries of the world experience deep spiritual and economical crisis today.. Not because of the lack of Words bearer or a good leader but it is because of very fact and the effect ‘media’ or the new technological advancement to each individual as well as to our family and in our society. Through the use of the new technological gadgets people become more and more dependence on it; but there is nothing wrong on it as long as we know what is to be avoided and to be pursued. However, this new technology become evil, for it leads person in the reality of ignorance for they are leading not in a proper way that what it is suppose to be. Without having a full knowledge upon using of it indeed leads us into corruption, it leads us to destroy our very nature and worse our human dignity.

However, with this encyclical letters concerning “Pornography and its Violence”, give us a pattern on how to deal with this unstoppable rising of technology. It helps in order to combat the violence of pornography towards youth and to our family. It eliminate our attitude toward the preservation of our very self.

One of the most threatening and consider as turning into ruin by the too much assimilation of ‘media’ is the destructions of our relation to our family. It seems that with the context of the different technological gadgets and even more varied programs that are not bound by time schedule many families have given up the fight—the new technologies won. Today children rush home from school, not to loving embrace of their parents, who may still be at work anyway, but to some cartoon show and the cravings of other gadgets to be in their hands.

Now days it is not fresh in our mind the very fact of premarital sex and the premarital pregnancies it is because of the very effect of media (pornography), we thought that all that we see are always pattern toward the real good. Upon engaging to this activity we degrade totally our dignity instead of lifting it up, we are trying to pull it down. (What a shame on my part!!!) We forgotten of what the Holy Father John Paul II calls “the right to the intimacy of conjugal and family life and the right to the stability of the bond of marriage“ By accepting pornography without the full comprehension , it leads us to unspeakable evil of sexual crimes occurring within the family and worse to our youth of today.

Now it is our duty! Parents and those who have the full knowledge as regard to this matter to safeguard and fight for the elevation of our dignity us man. Let us struggle with the delicate balance between a healthy pluralism and the consecration to the values and virtues that foster the flourishing of human heart and spirit.

One of the visible sign that we say that our status in different discipline are in away moving an improving is because of the very source and presence of the new technological discoveries. It is indeed the very reason why we able to attain this particular era—the era of modernization. It is the very cause in one way or another why we see and feel at this moment the importance and usefulness in order to make less burdensome our day to day living. Nonetheless, not all of them are to be considered as a devise to cultivate to cultivate for the progression in our intellectual realm as well as to the growth of our community.

In this brief reflection allow me to cite positive necessities regarding the use of media in which I considered very relevant and visible in this present generation. It indeed a great sign that the media is trying to capture our attention, that is to manifest its applicability to our lives ;to help and make our daily living renewed and make it difference. Indeed, in every time we do with or without noticing it, we are doing things which is always inline with these new technological invention and we cannot go away because we believe that and experience that these things are indeed helpful.

Furthermore, modernization is unattainable if before we neglected the presence of these things. It is because whither we like it or not this new technological innovation (media) shares a very profound way; a stepping stone in order to bring us to modernity—the new way of living. Indeed media offer us a means on how to live-life easy and less time consuming.

The very fact that this means is indeed useful is the massive development in terms of education. It is indeed helpful for it offers great leanings in order to unravel our illiteracy to be a man of wisdom.

Media are indispensable in today’s democratic society. They supply information about issues and events. They are important instruments of accountability, turning the spot-light on incompetence or corruption and abuses of trust, while also calling attention to instances of competence, public spiritedness, and devotion to duty
However, as a person subjected in order to be form to be the bearer of God’s divine words. I cannot reconcile the teaching of the Church in connection to this article “Guide to the Training of Future Priests Concerning the Instruments of Social Communication” in the first place, though it is not harsh the way it approach but still, I felt the pain. Maybe because I am too attached with the new technological inventions orbecause of the fact that I was born to the world where different technological innovation germinates. Indeed I cannot go away from it. It is because I believe that it is a great tool in my daily existence. Moreover, upon using these instruments I never realize or at less acquiring a little knowledge regarding these instruments that there are disadvantages or consequence if it is not properly channeled. What I though before was things were made towards good no matter how I used it. Consequently, with the enlightenment of this article concerning the instruments of social communication I was able to accept the reality that indeed it has a “multitude factors and circumstances threaten to destroy the integrity of the individual due to the slavish attachment to communication media. Indeed this is what the Holy Catholic Church issued regarding the proper usage of the new technological discoveries. The Mother Church reminding every users about the said topic, most especially those who are in the formation of priestly and religious life that being the next bearer of God’s word they should be acquainted with the real word in order to become more viable and acceptable the teachings and its apostolate in this present epoch. For the reason that .some concepts of the past may no longer be applicable and strong as we want it to be. In addition, it is proper to learn and actualize this thing in order to become more productive and profitable as they pursue there commitment in life. Nevertheless, it is being said that by using these instruments “should be trained in the correct use” that despite of massive development a seminarians and other consumers of these thing should always have the attitude on how to manipulate, that its users should learn on how to control, to have the attitude of moderation in connection to these things and always aspire for the greater good and for the salvation of souls.

In the world of modernity, man is bombarded by the new technological advancement such as cell phone, computer, I pod and other gadgets. They are instruments for communication which are helpful to man’s daily living. However, they endanger man’s life because of the improper use which eventually affects the morality of individuals. Nevertheless, these instruments should be utilized properly and they should serve as ways to form malleable minds of the individuals into a matured Christian people. In addition, instruments in communication are good in so far as they mediate the breach of communication brought about by space and time. This is the concept that the Catholic Church is trying to offer to us, that instruments in communication are in a way healthy and at the same time they endanger us. Consequently, the mother Church is trying to help and guide us in order to explain that these instruments can lead mankind into ruin or provide an atmosphere for the development or progression of society. In this regard, every individual should use his skills and abilities through the aid of the instruments for social communication in building the kingdom of God, so that a deeper understanding and a mature attitude will be fostered. They should help us improve not only in the personal and sociological dimensions, but most of all they should help us cultivate our spiritual dimension. Furthermore, the Holy Catholic Church also emphasized that there should be a moderation regarding the usage of these instruments especially among the youth. The youth of this generation should have the attitude of self control as regards the use of new technological inventions. On the other hand, we should not be pessimistic regarding this reality
